We hope that a visit to MAD Festival is an unforgettable experience for everyone. If our facilities are not sufficient, we are happy to work together to find a solution.

Wheelchair accessibility

Almost all performances at MAD Festival are wheelchair accessible. This applies to both the tent performances at Asiadok, the location performances at Het Oude Badhuis and the open air performances in Park Spoor Noord and at the MAD Festivalsite.

The only exception is 'PAKMAN' by Post uit Hessdalen, which plays in a construction built specifically for the show, a converted truck, and which sadly is not accessible to wheelcair users.

For safety reasons, we can only provide a limited number of wheelchair accessible spots in our big tops. Please send us an email in advance to info@madfestival.be.

Community tickets & reduced rates

Everyone should be able to attend MAD Festival, regardless of their financial situation. That is why we offer:

  • Community tickets: Together with social organisations, we offer tickets at a reduced rate, so that culture remains accessible to those who cannot afford it (right now). Are you experiencing financial difficulties yourself? Then you can reserve a reduced-rate ticket or a free ticket without any questions asked via beau.delagaye@arenberg.be. This offer is valid as long as there are sufficient funds.
  • Reduced rate: Do you have an A-card with a reduced rate? Then you get a discount on a selection of performances during MAD Festival. The ticket price is only £2. Here you can find which performances this rate applies to. Please note: these tickets are limited in number. You can order your ticket(s) online by selecting the “opportunity rate” price type during the ordering process and entering your A-card number(s). If this price type does not appear, then there are no tickets available at the opportunity rate for that performance.

Do you have any questions about community tickets? Feel free to contact beau.delagaye@arenberg.be. She will look at the options with you.
